A construction laboratory is rarely launched “in its entirety at once.” Most often, at the start, it is important to determine which tests will be the main ones: concrete, cement, crushed stone, sand, asphalt, soil or finished structures. This is what affects the priority of purchasing equipment.
For some laboratories, presses and testing machines are critical; for others, sample preparation, climatic conditions and associated measurement equipment are critical. An error at this stage leads to the fact that some of the purchased equipment is idle, and there are not enough really necessary items.
Therefore, it is better to build the equipment of a building materials laboratory in stages: a basic core, expansion for techniques and further modernization. This approach gives the best results both in terms of budget and launch speed.
