When does a laboratory need a vacuum system?
When does a laboratory need a vacuum system?

A laboratory needs a vacuum system not only for complex processes. It is used in filtration, degassing, drying, evaporation and sample preparation where stable reduced pressure and clear operation are required.

Selection depends on required performance, chemical resistance, noise level, compatibility with other equipment and the nature of the environment. For some tasks, a basic vacuum solution is sufficient, while others require systems designed for intensive and long-term operation.

If the vacuum system is chosen correctly, it becomes part of a stable process and does not require constant attention. If not, the laboratory faces wasted time, instability, and unnecessary service issues.
